  1. Exodus 20:1-17 - The Ten Commandments are given to Moses on Mount Sinai.

  2. Deuteronomy 5:6-21 - Moses reiterates the Ten Commandments to the Israelites.

  3. Matthew 22:37-40 - Jesus summarizes the commandments as love for God and love for neighbor.

  4. John 14:15 - Jesus emphasizes the importance of obeying His commandments as an expression of love for Him.

  5. 1 John 5:3 - Loving God involves keeping His commandments, and His commandments are not burdensome.
