Henry was a noted Bible scholar and pastor in England, and the author of the multivolume Exposition of the Old and New Testaments.
It has been periodically revised (and the language updated) and is still widely sold as Matthew Henry’s Commentary in one volume. It may be the best-selling commentary of all time.
