Contemporary Jews don’t call the Old Testament by that name. Since they don’t acknowledge any “newer” testament, they speak of “the Hebrew Bible” or “the Scripture” when referring to those books that Christians call the Old Testament. Jews do not accept the New Testament as inspired or holy.
