Then the LORD answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it.
For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” –Habakkuk 2:2-3
My Prayer for Today
Father, with all of my heart I want Your will to be done for my life. I don’t want to live a fantasy life with lofty goals that I will never achieve, nor do I want to gain fame and fortune in ventures that are outside of Your perfect will.
Therefore, right now I ask You to give me a vision and a goal. Reveal to me Your perfect plan for my life.
Show me what it is that You want me to do and how You want me to do it. Lay before me the steps that I must take, and I will write the vision down and run with it.
My Confession for Today
When I receive my clear-cut vision, a divine faith plan unthwartable in the hands of the diligent, I write it down and make it a clear, understandable, and unmistakable declaration in my life.
I place this plan where I will regularly see it so that I will have a continuous reminder and a source of focus toward my inevitable goal.
I speak of the end from the beginning and stand in full confidence that the Lord and I will see it through to its fulfillment.
