Prayer for Honesty and Justice | Daily Prayer
"The LORD detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with him." — Proverbs 11:1 (NIV)
Daily Exhortation
If you are a business owner and you charge the regular price for an item but the quantity of product you are selling has been manipulated, you are committing a sin. Also, if you treat one person differently from another person for evil reasons, you are also committing a sin.
Both instances are employing the use of dishonest scales. On the other hand, if you use accurate weights in your business or with people, you will find favor with the Almighty. What's your choice?
Today's Prayers
1. Merciful Father, I am sorry for every time I have used dishonest scales at work or in my business. Forgive me, in the name of Jesus.
2. God of grace, if I have employed double standards in my treatment of others for my own selfish reasons, forgive me, in the name of Jesus.
3. This morning, O God, I commit myself to setting aside my manipulated physical scales and weights which will be replaced with standard weights and scales, in the name of Jesus.
4. Also, I let go of my evil reasons for treating people with different standards. Henceforth, I will treat people with just behavioral scales and weights in accordance with Your word, in the name of Jesus.
5. Messiah, let Your Holy Spirit within me give me a paradigm shift that will allow me to see the world through His own lens and not just mine, in the name of Jesus.
6. O God, as I have committed myself to making these changes, in accordance with Your word, let me find favor with You, in the name of Jesus.
7. Thank You El Shaddai for answering all my prayers, in Jesus' mighty name, amen.
