Meaning of NAKEDNESS

(a) Without clothes (Gen. 2:25).
(b) Poorly dressed (Jb. 22:6).
(c) Without the external clothing (John 21:7).

In the Bible these two words (NUDITY and NUDE) have several meanings:
(a) Without clothes (Gen. 2:25).
(b) Poorly dressed (Jb. 22:6).
(c) Without the external clothing (John 21:7).

(d) "Nakedness" is also a euphemism referring to parts of the body that should not be exposed (Lev. 18:1-19), or to some shameful act (Gen. 9:22).

The precious blood of the Lamb slain removes the guilt and purges away the defilement of our sins of ignorance and carelessness.
