“Jehovah is light”, which is also called Kelita (= poverty).
He sent away his foreign wife at the orders given by Ezra (Ezra 10:23). He was commissioned by Ezra to read and explain the Law to the people (Neh. 8:7), and he sealed the covenant at the same time as Nehemiah (Neh. 10:10).
