JUNIPER
A shrub that grows in abundance in the desert and is still highly valued by nomads today. It is also appreciated as fuel.
In the desert his shadow is much sought after (1 Kings 19:4; Jb. 30:4). Its wood is very fragrant and is referred to when speaking of “cedar wood” in Lv. 14:4.
