JOHANAN
“gift of Jehovah.”

When the murder was carried out, and the people were taken captive, it was Johanan who rescued them. (c) Son of Elioenai, a descendant of David (1 Chron. 3:24).
(d) Son of Azariah, a priest (1 Chron. 6:9, 10).
(e) The name of two who came to David at Ziklag (1 Chron. 12:4, 12).
(f) An Ephraimite, father of Azariah (2 Chron. 28:12).
(g) Son of Hacathan, he returned from exile (Ezra 8:12).
(h) Son of Eliashib the Levite (Ezra 10:6, Neh. 12:22, 23).
(i) Son of Tobit the Ammonite (Neh. 6:18).
