ILLYRIAN
Mentioned in Rom. 15:19 as the western limit of the activity until then developed by Paul, as opposed to Jerusalem, the eastern end. It is the region of northwest Macedonia, populated by the Illyrians, from 35-33 BC, Roman, in the year 6-9 AD. divided between the provinces of Dalmatia, Pannonia and Moesia.
