HOBAB
Son of Raguel, a Midianite, who was Moses’ father-in-law (Num. 10:29).
Moses asked Hobab, who knew the desert well, to stay with them to instruct them about it in the places to which God would lead them (Num. 10:29-33).
His descendants settled in Israel (Judges 1:16; 4:11).
