FRONT
It is used as a symbol of a manifest character.
Israel, in his apostasy, is described as having the forehead of a harlot, and refusing to be ashamed (Jer. 3:3).
Ezekiel’s brow was hardened like a diamond, because of the hardness of the brow of Israel, with whom he had to contend (Ez. 3:8, 9).
Aaron wore a golden miter on his forehead, on which was engraved the phrase: “Holiness to the Lord,” in order to bear the faults committed in all the holy things offered by the children of Israel (Ex. 28:36-38 ).
God put a mark on the foreheads of those who mourned the abominations that were done in Jerusalem; the rest of its inhabitants would die (Ez. 9:4, 6).
In the future, God’s servants will have his mark on their foreheads.
Satan will also impose on his followers his mark on the forehead or on the right hand. Everyone will then have to show who they follow (Rev. 7:3; 9:4; 13:16; 14:1, 9; 17:5; 20:4).
