DERBE
City of Galatia, southeast of Lycaonia, visited by Paul on his three journeys. There, or in Lystra, he met Timothy (Acts 14:6-20; 16:1-3; 18:23).
Gaius was from there (Acts 20:4).
He has been identified with two towns southeast of Lystra and Iconium, and at the foot of Mount Hadji Baba.
