CAVE
Palestine is notable for the number of caves in it, some of which are large in size.
David and his followers were in a cave in the desert of En-gedi, so large that they could hide while Saul was in the same cave (1 Sam. 24:18: cp. Heb. 11:38).
The cave of Adullam and others are also notable in the OT.
Lazarus’ tomb was a cave (John 11:38).
