BURDEN
The word designates:
any great weight or hard work (Ex. 1:11; 23:5; 1 Kings 5:15; Mt. 20:12);
also worries or afflictions (Ps. 55:22),
human weakness and condition (Gal. 6:2),
the consciousness of sin (Ps. 38:4),
the annoyance caused to others (2 Chron. 11:9; 12:13),
as well as legalistic demands (Mt. 23:4; Acts 15:28; Rev. 2:24).
