Male of the species “Bos Taurus” (Jb. 21:10; Ps. 68:31; Is. 34:7; Jer. 52:20) (See OX) Particularly strong and brave bulls were bred in Bashan (Ps. 22 :13).
There is a Hebrew term. different to designate the young bull (Judg. 6:25). Subjected to the yoke, the bulls served as draft animals; They were also offered as a sacrifice (Ex. 29:1; 1 Chron. 29:21).
