BRACELET
The inhabitants of the Middle East were and still are very fond of adorning themselves with these ornaments on their wrists, arms, and legs.
Many of them have a very elaborate design and great skill in their execution. They are already mentioned in Genesis (Gen. 24:22); The bracelets were part of the offering of the people of Israel to make the instruments of the Tabernacle (Ex. 35:22).
Isaiah mentions it in his threat of judgment and desolation upon Israel (Is. 3:19), and Ezekiel, in contrast, mentions them in a passage in which he speaks of when the Lord welcomed Israel at the beginning, speaking metaphorically of their liberation and formation as a nation and adoption as His people (Ez. 16:11).
