(a) City of Judah (Jos. 15:44; Mi. 1:14), probably the same one that is also called Kezib (Gen. 38:5) and Kozeba (1 Chron. 4:22). Identified with “Ain Kezbeh”, 31º 42′ N, 35º E.
(b) City in the tribe of Asher, but from which its inhabitants could not be expelled (Josh. 19:29; Judges 1:31). Identified with “ez-Zib”, on the Mediterranean coast, 33º 3′ N, 35º 6′ E, about 17 km north of Acre.
