Moses was God’s appointed man to bring the Israelite slaves from Egypt and lead them to Canaan. But he faced constant griping and occasional rebellion. Korah led a large group in challenging Moses’ authority. The rebels were punished by an earthquake that opened a large hole in the earth that swallowed them (Num. 26).
