These are the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet. “Alpha and Omega” occur three times in the book of Revelation, each time referring to Christ: “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last” (22:13). Put another way, “I am the Eternal One.”
