For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” –Romans 1:17
My Prayer for Today
Father, what a glorious truth it is that I have become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus my Lord. (Romans 3:22.)
My day-to-day living is no longer dependent on my own meager ability to gain Your favor. I know that I am welcome at Your throne in spite of myself.
Because of Your free gift to me, I am now made clean. Lord, right now I make my commitment to You to act on what I believe.
I thank You that I no longer stand in my own ability, but in Your ability. I am now one with You in spirit and Your Word is a mighty weapon on my lips.
My Confession for Today
I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and my life is lived by faith. This righteousness is not my own; it is God’s gift to me.
My right standing with God is not based on my own goodness, but the goodness of Jesus. His righteousness is now my righteousness.
In Him, I now have all the justification I need to receive any and every promise in God’s Word.
It is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.” Therefore, by faith I claim every promise as mine in Jesus’ name.
