Proper names of several characters:
(a) Chancellor of Hezekiah, son of Asaph, one of the three commissioners to Rabshakeh (2 Kings 18:18, 26, 37; Is. 36:3, 11, 12), around 712 BC.
(b) Third son of Obed-edom, Korite porter (1 Chron. 26:4).
(c) Also called Ethan (1 Chr. 6:21, 42), a Levite of the sons of Gershom. (See also 2 Chr. 29:12).
(d) Son of Jehoahaz and chancellor of King Josiah. He helped repair the temple (2 Chr. 34:8), around 623 BC.
